October Updates from the Multicultural Children’s Book Team

October 29, 2015 by Valarie Budayr

Happy Thursday!

Just a quick note on a few important details. Our Early Bird Sale on our upper levels of Sponsorship for MCCBD 2016 is ending 10/31/15!

Please note that our Platinum level is SOLD OUT (yay!) but there are other levels (including Author Sponsors) available. View the EB Sale prices below and get the full scoop on Sponsorship for Multicultural Children’s Book Day 2016 here.

In honor of our third annual Multicultural Children’s Book Day event, we would like to offer our potential MCCBD Sponsors a very special Early Bird Pricing for a limited time. From September 15th to October 31, 2015 our Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze Sponsorship levels are up to 25% OFF.

SPONSORSHIP LEVELS

  • Platinum (Limit 3) $1,500 $1125 SOLD OUT!
  • Gold (limit 6) $750 $562.50
  • Silver $375 $281.25
  • Bronze $200.00 $150.00

We predict our “top spots” of Platinum and Gold will fill up fast due to the limited number of Sponsorships available, so don’t delay in reserving your spot AND save some money at the same time! Again, quantities are limited on our Platinum (limit of 3) and Gold levels (limit of 6) and these prices are only available until October 31st, 2015. We’ve attached our Sponsorship Packet to this email so you can review the benefits to you and other important details about Multicultural Children’s Book Day.

If you know of someone who would like to support MCCBD, and gift a fellow author or illustrator a few online “shout-outs,” then you need to share our newest option Friends of MCCBD. This feature is a great way to show your support and help us raise funds to get more books into the hands of young readers while also showing some love for the books or authors that you love. Get the full scoop on Friends of MCCBD here.

Friends of MCCBD

Our Classroom Reading Challenge launches November 1st! Thanks to support and sponsorship from the Junior Library Guild, MCCBD will be able to gift high-quality, hardcover multicultural books that are pre-screened and approved to deserving classrooms. Read more about the Classroom Challenge here and please pass the word to any teacher friends who want to earn a free multicultural book for their classroom!
