Wade and Cheryl Hudson

Wade Hudson is an award-winning author and president of Just Us Books, Inc., an independent publisher of books for young people. He has more than 35 published books for children and young adults, Including Recognize! An Anthology Honoring and Amplifying Black Life, (edited with his wife Cheryl) and his memoir, DEFIANT: Growing Up in the Jim Crow South, both published by Crown Books.     I just read a great picture book called Moving Forward: From Space-Age Rides to Civil Rights Sit-Ins with Airman Alton Yates that was great. I love reading who’ve left a legacy that I might not have heard of before.
